I've been really stupid, don't really want to say, but I got a new sub (MS309) and I've been very busy lately at work. So I just unpacked it and used it with some music and a few nice bass'y bits on film. But I completely forgot to put the feet on , and it's got down firing ports, its just been standing directly on the carpet. I thought it sounded a bit weak

So the question is, could I have done any damage to it? and if so what...it sounds ok, but I thought I should check....

I strongly doubt that you'd have done it any harm :). Performance should improve however.
