Good day people,

I've been trying to find an answer/explanation for this over the net but couldn't find anything, and was hoping that someone here at AVForums could give an explanation.

Ok, the other day i was working on my laptop when i sneezed all over my monitor and i've realized that color dots showed on my monitor.

I'm sure all of us experienced this someway or another.

The question is, why do you see color dots when water is sprayed on your TV or PC monitor or any screen?

Can some give an explanation on this please?

Regards

I'm no scientist, but I'll give it a go!

Your tv is already made up of coloured dots (look really closely!) and the water droplets act as little magnifying glasses so make the dots appear larger and easier to see.

Either that or you've been eating skittles and you're sneezing a rainbow.
