I'm after a 77mm adapter ring to fit my cokin 'p' filter holder onto the sigma 10-20mm lens, obviously being wide angle I'm not sure if the cokin 'p' is best for this?

Anyone know the cheapest and best way to go around this?

    tia

The Cokin P series is fine for a Sigma 10-20mm however, you will need to get the wide angle holder to avoid severe vignetting. You will still get some at 10-12mm but it's liveable with. You will need the 77mm adaptor ring and the wide angle holder. here

Would a Kood P series 77mm adapter work with the cokin holder?

7dayshop sell them for a few quid

edit: don't think they are wide angle tho?

I think the Kood adaptor will work with the Cokin holder, but it would be worth checking further. The Cokin adaptor rings aren't that expensive anyway, maybe £9?

Remember, you need an adaptor ring that screws to your lens and then the holder slots onto that, the filters then slide into the holder. I use the WA holder all the time and have never had the normal holder. It does limit somewhat with the ability to stack filters but I have never found it a major problem.
