code for ntl pace remote control

does anyone know what the remote code for the ntl pace digi box is
i just got a new tv and want to programme the new remote

It is unlikely to work I am afraid.

Most Cable tv boxes use a different coding system to the normal tv's, sky boxes and the like.

It is a legacy thing dating back to the days when we imported all our cable tv stuff from the USA.

is that why the book that came with my telly lists about 30 cable boxes but not pace

I recently bought a oneforall remote control, and the manual lists three codes for PACE boxes. On line codes are available at www.oneforall.com at this link

The codes that are listed maybe unique to the oneforall handsets but my point is that they are listing the PACE and NTL boxes.
