My philips dvdr70 only has one coax digital output.
But I want to output to two sources, my amp and my tv.
Every time I contact a retailer I keep being directed to a ' normal '
phono splitter, this included Keene electronics and maplins.
I need a coax digital splitter, I know that toshlink splitter's are available.
B ut can anyone point me in the direction of a coax digital splitter ?

    Regards......Ted

    Hi Ted,
I use a midiman Co2 converter to connect the optical s/pdif from my Laserdisc in to my coax s/pdif on my HTPC.
    http://midiman.com/products/m-audio/converters.php

It converts optical to coax, plus optical-thru which is a bonus as I can connect back in to my amp and HTPC at the same time.
    i.e.
It can also split Coax to Coax and Optical. Any good for your TV?

    £36 from http://www.millennium-music.biz/hom...e=detail&subcategory_id=ACCESSORIE&subsubcat=

I think Keene may sell them too.

    regards,
    Rob.

All I really need is a splitter as my dvd only has the one output.
My tv can handle dolby digital as well as my amp thats why I want the two outputs.

    Thanks......Ted

    yep
a normal coax splitter is all you need, go for a gold connecter one though.
