I watched this movie last night and really enjoyed it. It has a great feel good factor about and left me smiling away after it was finished. :D

I enjoyed the sound track as well (hiphop roots :D )

To top it off it seems to be a true life story.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0393162/

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this movie and what were their thoughts?

    Seth :hiya:

    Just read your review :smashin:
Samuel L Jackson is a good actor and definately does a good job in this movie. I like his movies and he has done a fair few.

I think this film is targeted at a younger audiance and definately for the US market, as you say the MTV generation. :D

Ashanti is a r&b star and not known for acting but these movies always slip in a hiphop or r&b music star to draw the fans in. Ja Rule, Exhibit, DMX etc.

Would agree that this movie is defiantely worth a rent or budget buy (ie £7-10). I would give this movie a 8 out of 10

    SORT OF SPOILER..................

I must admit that it didnt end the way I expected. Thats all I am going to say on that subject as I dont want to ruin this movie for anyone watching.

It has a real feel good factor to it. Are there any other films which are similar?

'Remember the Titans' with Denzel Washington....also based on a true story of two high schools intergrating in the 60's.

My Mrs hates American Footy, but she loved this film...can't rate it highly enough. If your not moved at the end of it then you have ice flowing through your veins
