Clouding/Bleeding on my new Samsung UN65JS9000

HI,

During this blackfriday I found an open box Samsung UN65JS9000. I got a very good deal & did not let go. The BB Samsung rep gave me 35% off since it was an open box item and did not have the original Box. But he assured me that its not a BB store display model and it was returned by some other customer. With the 35% discount i paid around $1850 before Tax. I thought this was an amazing deal so i grabbed it. I was originally planning to buy the samsung UN65JS8500 TV but got this open box item for lesser price than that. I'm loving the curve TV and the picture clarity is stunning.
But I'm seeing an issue with the TV. In the dark room with black background in the screen, I noticed some white spots in the TV. I'm not sure if this is clouding or bleeding. The regular picture quality of this TV is stunning and i see only the clouding issues only during Dark Black scenes. I'm attaching some same pictures of it for your reference.

I need some advice from you guys on this.
1. Do you see this an issue/defect with the TV ?
2. Should i return this TV back to Best Buy? I cannot get a replacement TV since its an open box and there will not be another replacement openbox since this TV is an new item and cannot find a replacement openbox TV?
3. Should i call samsung and report this issue and have them fix the TV ?
4.Considering the 35% discount i got on this TV, should i keep it and live with it? Note the brand new model now costs $3499.

Thanks for your advice guys. Awaiting your responses.

Thanks for your time.

I assume you have smart led on standard or high in the picture options menu? Do you see it on normal content and not just menus / the screens you posted? It is normal to see some clouding in some dark scenes, bias lighting (led strips behind the TV) can help reduce the visibility of it

Thanks for your response. The picture settings in my TV is set as Dynamic with a backlight of 15. I will attached a picture of my TV picture settings.

Now you know why it was returned. This seems to be a very inconsistent panel I had one and returned it for significant light bleed in the corners.
As mentioned though your settings will certainly show up any imperfections. Try the linked settings above and see if it's any better. A good test is Netflix search menu in the native app.

its very much a case of what can you live with, all tv s have problems, lcd has problems with light bleed, clouding, inherent to the tech, also each panel can be different, have you tried these settings.

Based on the pictures i posted, do you think this is an issue/defect with the TV ?
Hard to tell if its in dynamic mode, that's the worst possible mode you could have it in, try the suggested settings and see if it's any better and more importantly see how often you see issues in real content

I have made all settings suggested in the link you sent. But since its day time my living room is very bright and i could not test it. I will test the clouding/bleeding in the evening so the black contents are clearly noticed. Thanks.

Bias lighting is brilliant at hiding clouding, it's up to you if you think you should have to.. I use bias lighting and it's an amazing effect and actually improves the blacks on Led TVs ..Well makes them look better.
