I only watched the first two seasons of Clone Wars and although I enjoyed a lot of it, I didnt feel compelled to continue but maybe its time to try and catch up after watching that awesome clip.

The last season was excellent, great stories, characters and animation. Got quite dark too. I'm looking forward to Star Wars Rebels too.

using a vpn to access the service might be successful but it wont allow for Hd viewing ( in my experience ) .
i used my VPN and tried a Hd film and it wouldn't allow it as my bandwidth wasn't sufficient , which i think most if not all VPN from uk into us would be the same.
a better option would be to change your DNS settings which will achieve the same result but also allow you to take advantage of your full bandwidth and therefore watch in HD .

it started off as just for kids but as the seasons progressed it became darker and more interesting. If you're a fan of Star Wars then this is a must watch, as I said before, great stories, incredible visuals and intricate characters. One of my favourite "cartoons" along with Avatar: Legend of Aang (which is also on Netflix).

I put the VPN in commas but using a service like unblockus, which are commonly referred to as such, you should have no issues getting a (super) HD stream. I certainly don't.

it is not a true VPN - you need software installed for a true VPN - that just changes your DNS settings

i used to watch it but they kept moving the programme about so in the end i couldn't keep up with what episode i had seen, it was quite a decent series though.

Didn't Yoda start communicating with Qui Gon in Attack of The Clones? Why, then, does he act so surprised when he hears him at this point? And what about Obi-wan encountering his old master in the Mortis Trilogy; did he never discuss this with Yoda?

That aside, I do like how The Clone Wars addresses story points that aren't covered in the films. The issue of a Jedi retaining their abilities after death was never properly addressed in the prequels, apart from a very rushed conversation between Obi-wan and Yoda towards the end of RoTS. And these "lost episodes" are also going to cover the issue of Sifo Dyas as well, I believe. All we need now is for Rebels to address why Leia remembers her mother so clearly and then all the holes that have bothered me have been filled!

I'm sure Yoda only mentioned Qui Gon at the end of Sith, so this would follow him communicating in the TV Clone Wars, I can't recommend the series enough, I almost gave up after the frost two seasons but the writing got darker and the characters are more fleshed out.

Agreed, the first couple of seasons were patchy, some filler in there but the later seasons have been really good stuff.

Maybe a way round the whole Leia thing is for her as a child to find an old recording in an R2 unit of her mother - maybe a communication she'd planned on sending to Anakin before he turned. Sorry, not very good really - not when you listen to the way Leia described her.

Oh, my giddy aunt! Up until now I'd always felt Season 5 to be the best The Clone Wars had to offer. Now I've seen this, though...wow, is all I can say right now (can't wait to show the boy when he gets home from school).

In Attack of The Clones, we clearly hear Qui Gonn during Yoda's meditation, though. I'm not buying it that Yoda doesn't recognise his voice.

I have to say, there's not a season of The Clone Wars that I haven't enjoyed. And although I haven't watched them in a while, I dearly recall Michael York's guest appearance, Count Dooku's capture and the Malevolence story from Season One. Whereas Season Two had Cad Bane, Boba Fett, brain-worms and Mandalorians. What's not to like?!

I think the Artoo recording would work just fine, to be honest. There's every reason to believe Artoo would have all sorts of stuff in his data banks.
