Clever ideas for 1st gen ipod touch

hi guys

i have a 1st gen ipod touch 16gb and have recently bought an iphone which covers my portable music needs..

My question is there anything clever i can do with it to give a new lease of life? I have looked on ebay and doesnt look like it would be worth selling, i have thought of 2 possible things to do with it..

1) buy airfoil and use it as a wireless streamer for my itunes

2) Jailbreak it and buy that wireless sync app, then stick in the car (car sits well inside wireless network)

Anybody else out there got any clever ideas for it?

You could use it as a remote to control various things in your house e.g. lights and appliances.
