Hi guys iv sold my mac mini to a relative (its redundant now as ive got an iMac)

Im not sure i have the orignal setup discs to reformat the HDD so just wondered if anyone can give me any steps on how to wipe any sensitive info off of it?

I have software on there which i paid for ie Ripit Toast etc so may aswell leave these on there for them

any advice is much appreciated

i cant completely mess up the machine doing either of these can i???

see my HDD is 100gb yet it says 70gb free, cant seem to see where the other 30gb is taken!

shouldn't be a problem

OS X can take up space, I believe Leopard +ilife can take up to anyway between 17-20GB of space (Snow Leopard about 5-7GB less than that) and any other software you may have etc
