What do you guys use to clean your plasma screens?
just a cloth, etc.....
do a search mate there are a couple of very long threads (would you believe?) on this very subject
Daz scouring powder
Or anything gentle, as in liquid baby soap or fairy liquid or plain water or glass cleaner.
Or a cloth with a bit of spit
have a read of the Plasma screen cleaning cloth thread, the 3M/ScotchBrite Micro Fibre one is the best i have found Tesco ahve then for a few quid
I use one of those handy chamois pads (with the sponge inside).
Gets right into the corners and brings the screen up smudge-free.
A light misting with non-coloured glass cleaner for anything more stubborn.
just bought a hitachi 42pd7200 from richer sounds, they recommend a Spontex cleaning cloth, bright green in colour, available from sainsbury, tesco, etc. don't use anything with a cleaning fluid (ie alcohol or similar) in it as it removes the anti-glare layer on the glass!
is the spontex that made made foam rubbery one? I would stick to 3M micorfibre (what B&O use) and for nasty marks use steam from kettle to moisten the cloth
ive just got a vileda microfiber cloth, i have used them before for my pc but then they stopped selling them but i guess they started again
You don't need anything special guys!!!!
Anything you'd put on a babies butt will do, IMO.
No doubt someone will prove me wrong though.
I use aspecial cloth and liquid that was recommended to me and it is superb. Check out the website for plasmaclean - it wont disappoint!!

Well my daughter decideed to draw a picture on my screen with a crayon.Tried loads of stuff but marks where still noticeable.Brought some one this of ebay
It's cleared the screen up perfectly.
Which cloth did you use with that cleaner?
The Tesco MF towels are quite good for about £1 and much better value than the 3M or Vileda. The best MF towels I have tried come from here www.pakshak.com.
Unless the screen is very dirty a slightly damp MF towel will remove most dust etc and then buff with a dry one.
Lens cleaning cloth m8.
