Cleaning Smuges/Finger prints

Bouncy Ball

Standard Member

Just got my first LCD TV out the box today and after close inspection I have 2 smuges/fingerprints in both corners! No idea how they got there as I was really careful getting it out the box.

I've made no attempt to clean them as I know I will only mess it up so I thought I would ask advice here.

Thanks for any help given,

If you click on 'search this' at the top of this forum, you should search for 'cleaning lcd' and you'll see a variety of replies from using a lint free cloth which is a good idea with plain tap water, to using somee kind of solution such as this:Computer Screen Cleaner > Maplin which is the one I use to clean my lcd tvs of everything from dust to finger prints.
