Cleaning CRT lenses ?

    Sorry for all the questions...but the answers and responses I'm getting from this forum are excellent.

    My fabled Seleco 320+ .... there are fingerprints (not mine !) on the lenses...there is dust (probably mine) also.

    What should I use to clean them ?
    (and yes, I promise to use the covers now that I've seen how much muck can get onto the tubes)

    The Seleco projector lenses have a special coating on them to improve the optical performance. Be careful when cleaning, don't use abrasive or chemical cleaners that might strip off this coating.

    A Pentax (or similar) lens cleaning cloth is best. This is a lint free cloth designed to avoid scratching the lenses. It uses no chemicals. Best of all, when its dirty you can just wash it and its ready to use again.

    You can buy them from opticians for less than £6.
