I have had my Sanyo PLV-30 projector for a few months now and was wondering how often the air filters should be cleaned? Advice would be much appreciated.

The area of the filters of the PLV30 are very small for the amount of air that passes through them, I would clean them about once a month to keep things right.

Just have a look at your filters now, that will give you a time frame for cleaning they only take seconds to remove unless your installation is awkward.
If they are clear, well then you can work out a longer filter cleaning interval for the machine.

I've seen PLV30 filters look like the inside of a full vacuum cleaner bag after only three weeks so that's why my time errs on the very cautious side.

Regular two minute cleaning vs lamp or panel failure!
what would you do?.

Once a month? I was thinking more like once every six months! Any other PLV-30 owners care to comment as to how often they clean theirs? Thanks.
