According to the "Action TV Online" website, the following titles are in pipeline.

The BBC TV series THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS is rumoured to be granted a region 4 DVD release in May.

Available for the first time ever on 29th June is the complete, classic 1967 animated series of SPIDERMAN, which was given a recent airing during early mornings on Channel Four. The six-disc set set will feature all 52 restored episodes.

THE NIGHTMARE MAN, the cult 80s BBC thriller written by Robert Holmes and directed by Douglas Camfield, has been announced by some online retailers as being released on 19th July. Nothing official has been confirmed yet (though it has been featured in the BBC's Cult TV section as definitely scheduled), but it looks like another often requested TV classic is finally being commercially available.

Despite being announced over a year ago, it finally looks like THE ADVENTURES OF ROBINSON CRUESOE will be released on DVD in October / November this year. Rights issues have apparently delayed plans for the programme's release.

Hurrah, I say, with highly polished knobs on.

The Nightmare Man... now there's a series that did exactly what it said on the tin. Think I'll have to bag one of those

I saw "The Nightmare Man" at the BFI last year. It was still very good.

I'm really looking forward to getting Robinson Crusoe. This was an essential part of my childhood. Had such a superb soundtrack.

I was luck enough to pick it up on a CD, The Man From U.N.C.L.E./Cult TV Classics on Silva Screen 712, and contains the original title music from the 1964 series The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.

It will be good to see Day Of The Triffids on DVD at last. Hope they release the original six episode versions as opposed to the merged versions shown on UK Gold.

Now if someone would release Tripods Series 2 I would be very happy!

Garrett, I recently spent a small fortune buying up most of Silva Screen's back catalogue. They have some great material.
