    Hi Guys and Galls.

I'm interested getting some classic horror movies and would like some recommendations on which films or boxsets to get. I have seen a few Hammer Horror sets at Play.com but im abit confused at to which are worth it.
Im looking for things like Dracula, Frankenstein etc.
Please feel free to post links to some (the cheaper the better).
I would prefere R2, or at least PAL.

    Many Thanks.

You could do a lot worse than this...

    the Universal Horror Legacy Boxset

I'm tempted to get it myself. At £64 (more in the High St) I can't see Santa bringing it to me this year :(

The best of the Hammer sets is the 3 disc set with Dracula, The Mummy and The Curse of Frankenstein. The first three of Hammer's classic horror series and three of their finest movies.

I've heard that the quality is a bit iffy on most of the titles.

Quality's not the best, but since many of them are ancient B&W classics, it's to be expected. None of them are unwatchable. And I've found a couple gems in there so far that I'd never heard of.

Oh, and import duty isn't an issue with CrazyApe.
