What is the obsession these days with it. Watching a planning program now and they designed a znyc cladded development set around a brick sort of lighthouse tower. ***

Personally I think it looks **** however it's done. What happened to having plain old brickwork. If I ever get the chance to build my own house i'd have exposed brickwork inside as well as out. When it's done well it's an absolute wonder, so why then cover it all up?

I like wooden cladding on houses, abit like barn convertions . I hate it when people clad there extensions with white upvc.

There seems to be a lot of cladding on houses in Wales? Was up there recently and every other house had cladding. Oh and those dodgy butterflies.
