Hi everyone
Is anyone out there familiar with Cisco routers?
I want to set up a home network and will also be doing the Cisco CCNA networking course in the near future.
I was therefore wondering if it was possible to use a Cisco 2500 or 2600 instead of the usual Netgear, Linksys home products.
This way, I'd be killing two birds with one stone.
What additional hardware/software would I need and would I be able to attach ordinary made for home products, such as printers and modems, wireless access points to the resulting network, or would I have to use Cisco's own products?
I'm an experienced IT bod, but am a beginner when it comes to networking.
Cheers!
