    Hi All,

I am just about make my first significant lens purchase of a Canon 24mm-70mm f2.8.
I was wondering what recommendations others have for circular polarising filters for this lens. They seem to range from 50-200 pounds. The Super HMC PRO-1 seems to look good. Is it worth spending that bit extra for this lens?

    Many thanks,
    Alex.

The shot i put in last months comp used a Sigma EX circular polariser which i think was around 50-60 quid back in 2000, quality is sufficient for my needs.

If pricing is anything to go by, this filter looks okay. It is priced at 100 pounds on the Jessops website.
    Thanks Tyefi.

Tons of compatible polarizers on eBay. From about £15 delivered.

Wow... am sure i paid around 60UKP for the 67mm version but that's 90UKP now!
I use it on my 24-85 or the 70-200 F4L can't say it's ever disappointed me...BUT i didn't compare it to more expensive glass to see what i was missing out on! ;-)
