    Hey all,

I have been to IFA last week and I was impressed by the images of the CineMax projector. The people of barco showed HDTV with it, perfect blacklevels, great colors and a high contrast. I was definately impressed. They also showed images of Mission Impossible II on a single chip DLP, I did not know that a DLP could reach that high contrast. The colours were a bit too saturated but being just a prototype I guess they will solve that. Apparently the DLP is part of the "Cineversum concept" or something like that. You have a videoprocessor with internal scaler to which they connect a digital cable to a plasma or the DLP,which can be connected to each other. It seemed to be very interesting, I asked for some more information, when I receive it I will give you guys an update.

    Cheers

    Steve
