On question time now... I think he will be a future leader of the Labour Party. Very personable, knowledgeable and talks sense:smashin:

One of my good friends used to work for him and said over a year ago he would be the future leader for Labour. Rachel Reeves and Yvette Cooper also have a good chance. If they choose Ed balls, well they will be in the political wilderness for a significant period of time.

Big fan of Ken Clarke though, I think he is a very good politician.

I do think Chuka Umunna would bring new life into the labour party. The present line up is overshadowed by Ed Balls. Apart from being the most annoying politician in the whole world, he is so unbelievable due to the fact he was instrumental in the last governments overspending mess

If the Coalition is thrown out as a protest then that is the only way Ed Milliband could win. I don't see labour winning on ideas.

So :smashin:for Chuka

This post from Guido Fawkes was written in January. Not that I agree with Guido, thats a pretty spot on summation going by last nights performance.

Centerist eh? Tony 2.0/4G then.

yes i agree about Chuka .He certainly has the gravitas and charisma to make a good leader.PM in waiting IMO.Only wish Dennis Skinner was 30 years younger to bring some badly needed spark into British politics.Always rated the guy , particularly when he smashed into the Milk Snatcher

he was rubbish on QT, made a dick of himself against Ken and on the Jeremy Clarkson issue

9/10 for style, 1/10 for substance.

He'll do well in the Labour party!

also sounds like Dave, the heir to Blair

Well I'd have given Blair 10/10 for style and 2/10 for substance.

Cameron would get 7/10 for style and 6/10 for substance.
