    Hello

Just a reminder that season (why can't the americans just say series like the rest of us) 2 of Chuck is on Virgin 1 tonight.

I can't wait, especially as I've just won season 1 on dvd in a facbook competition :clap::clap:

Well worth the watch for those who haven't seen it yet. :smashin:

Also, I don't defend the Yanks for much but I think Season makes more sense than Series which I always think of as the show itself.

It would be worth updating the thread topic so its clear what time Season 2 starts on which channel. Rather than needing to read the thread itself.

    Eg Chuck Season 2 starting 9/6/2008 9:00PM on Virgin1.

Because we have it wrong..sort of.

Chuck is a TV series in it's own right (I.e. a sequence of episodes based on a single premise).

This series is divided into seasons/years or whatever. The US tends to call these collections of programmes in a single year a season even though they usually last 6 months..which is actually 2 seasons..oh, hang on. [:0)]

the thing is ... the term season is also used inconsistently in the UK
    - classic Doctor Who was made in "seasons"
