Which low level input do I use ie L or R? Does it matter? Whats the video/audio switch used for? From an assethetics point of view would it impede the sound if the cone fired sideways as opposed to forward? This is because the CHT15 is deaper than it is wider. Ta Peter
You can use either or get yourself a Y Splitter and use both. The Audio/Video switch changes the output by around 3db when set to Video. Also seems to change the frequency curve with more output at around 50-60hz. Audio sounds better to me so I leave it on that. Don't think you'll have a problem with it facing sideways rather than forward, unless it's firing directly at a wall which will either sound better or have an adverse effect depending on your room acoustics.
I didn't realise the video setting raised output from 50-60Hz, i've 50Hz lift in my room already, so must give the audio setting a go.
Have a look at this review for the CT150 (previous model to the CHT15). It mentions the Audio/Video setting changing the frequency response. Certainly appears to be around 50/60hz from what I can make out when testing mine. Review
