I've seen some good offers on the CHT-8.

    (i) Looking at the manual I see that the Sub has two line in phonos (right and left) but all amps I have looked at have a single LFE phono. How would you connect these or can't I use the CHT-8 with this type of amp.

(ii) What colour is the grill of the silver version. The velodyne site shows pictures of the CHT-8R but I gather these look a little different from the discontinued CHT-8.

    Thanks for the help

    Cheers,

    Nigel

Single phono into the left or the right will do fine - sometimes one is labelled as "mono" on the sub, or the manual points you at one or the other...PJ

    Hi.

Apparently, this range of Subs can benefit from a Y-splitter cable. This will fix to the end of your standard sub phono cable and splits the signal into 2. You can now plug into both inputs on the rear of the sub amp panel. Can offer an increase in performance if my memeory serves me well. Worth a shot!

    regards FRANC

    Thanks for the helpful responses.

I have also found out the colour of the grill - if you're interested it is silver.

    Cheers,

    Nigel
