I know some of you have missed these over the last few years well on:

Wednesday at 9.30pm is documentary on MR James and at 10 is the Jonathan Miller 1968 production of Whistle and I’ll Come to you.

Thursday at 11pm The Treasure of Abbot Thomas.

Friday at 11.30 A Warning to the Curious.

    Sunday 26 December
    12:25am - 1:10am
BBC4 M R James: the Stalls of Barchester

Been looking forward to these, have got 'whistle and i'll come to you' and 'a warning to the curious' on DVD but I'll still watch them when they're on. It's about time the BBC showed these again. Christmas don't seem right without a good old ghost story.

Really enjoyed The Treasure of Abbot Thomas last night. It was the first time I had seen this one and thought it stuck to the original story quite well. Slight change to the ending I think, but none the worse for it.

They've repeated all of these over the past few years with the exception of "The Ash Tree". The only one I haven't got. :(

What's happened to that I wonder?

    Spoiler:
The story ends with Somerton and Gregory discussing a latin inscription on the well head. No mention of Somerton sitting outside in a wheelchair waiting for the mysterious dark figure to reach him.

As you say the ending was a touch ambigious, but I liked it none the less.

Is "The Treasure of Abbot Thomas" repeated over the holidays?...missed it on Thurs and I haven't seen it before.

Got the other two on DVD and really enjoyed them.

I cannot see it repeated, the only thing they repeated was the documentary on M R James.
