For the technically sad amongst us there is an excellent pouring of info coming from Chris Stephens as the AVS guest at the moment.

Yes, I read that yesterday, he sounds like a US version of Richard Ansell. I would be very interested in Richards thoughts if he reads the post. A lot of what Chris says in the post echos what Richard was telling me at the event.

Richard and Chris in a celebrity death match...now that would be an EVENT!!!! hahahaha....

I wish Richard would pop over and ask a few questions about the Terranex. Some of what it does seems pretty sensible. I'd love to see if it's all it's hyped up to be though.

I'd also suggest you look at the thread for the other guest. Russ Herschelmann. Russ is a font of knowledge regarding home theatre. Of all the courses I've been on (and there are have been more than few I can tell you), Russ's have always been the most entertaining. Basically he deals with the super rich most of the time. Just doing nutter theaters, all over the world.

    He's a bit of a laugh too.

I too have been followings Chris's flow of knowledge on AVS - I'm still trying to understand some of what he is doing though!

I have deliberately not got into a discussion on the Teranex - It would be inappropriate for me to comment directly on the performance of a competing companies' products.

All I will say is that having spent a week at the Broadcast exhibition, IBC, in Amsterdam virtually within sight of each others' booths - I reckon we had the best "Booth Babes" (Leanne & Holly) while Teranex had the better freebies (Alarm Radios)!!!
I'll not be tempted to comment further !

    Richard,

I didn't think you would get drawn in to commenting.....I'm not sure that Chris fully understands exactly what he's trying to do either. Still it's very entertaining. I wish someone would finance me to muck around like that!

Thank goodness there weren't any 'booth babes' at the event. I understand people were already hot under the collar.
