Chris Moyles Gamertag - how do we find out what it is?
See if you can get Jonathan Ross's while you're searching...
Furryworm or it was
Is there any point - he won't talk to you, even if you can find him (at least that is what he said on the radio this morning)?
I was listening to him talking about COD this morning, I thought it was pretty funny.
'Let's do this'
Him and Vernon talk about it almost everyday, i think they are going to get sacked soon
Me and a colleague are the same. We sit on the same set of desks in an open office and are always gassing about it. Everyone`s sick of us talking about it and other xbox games. But who cares
i think a lot of people are addicted to it. If we can't play it i.e. at work or with missus' we end up talking about it. Just look at this forum - it all comes from our anticipation of the next chance to get online.
It is with me anyway and its good to hear I'm not the only one obsessing about this game, even the celebs are hooked.
re starting the thread I'm not in the least bit interested in talking to CM, don't even like him that much, I just thought it would make a topical thread in light of him talking about the game so much.
You can see in this forum that even those that have slagged of everything COD4 - the lag - the XBL problems - the other gamers etc etc they still play every other night.
Its just because its a wicked game! I'm no spring chicken and when I was a kid we played war all the time. Sticks as guns, mud bombs as grenades etc etc but had the Xbox been around then I would have been stuck in front of the tv like most kids are today.
Isn't that the truth! I can relate to that - afternoons and evenings watching Westerns and WWII movies (or series featuring aliens, spies or private eyes), then long days out with mates recreating the death and destruction ... at parks, on the streets and in gardens.
As the father of two young-ish kids, their lives are very different now. Sadly, in many ways, I think for the worse.
As a Father of two myself (Adam 4 and Bethany 6), I love playing with the kids, going for bike rides etc........
But when the moon is out and EastCorrieDale is on.. there i will be. Sat in the dining room , shooting people in the face and using language that would make a sailor bluch.
The only "celeb" gamertag I know of is Iain Lee - "delramos" . I don't think he minds anyone knowing as he announced it at an awards ceremony once, covered by the BBC. Last time I looked he was quite handy on Rainbow 6.
RedAl, any chance of a latte me old china? eh cobber? hmmm?
What do they say about Call of duty
No chance at all Jambs, I`m busy reading AV Forums. But you can get me one when you next go that way
Chris was trying to explain it to the rest of the people there and how it works. He was also talking about a couple of games he had with Vernon Kay etc.
Then he started quoting lines from it. It was funnier than it sounds.
I hate chris moyles, to shoot him in the head would be sooooo satisfying!
I had furryworm on my friends list for a while but he was never online, Off he went after a month or so.
I heard Vernon Kay talking about playing with someone called "Diet Dodger" the other day on Live. Didn't hear the full conversation as it was blaring out in my local newsagency. Might be Moyles I suppose.
I'd love to creep up behind Chris Moyles and stick my knife in his back, or maybe shoot him in the face point-blank with my Desert Eagle. Mind you, sniping his ears off from 200 metres away would be strangely satisfying too.
Oops - just realised this is the CoD4 forum.
As you were.
i started a thread a while ago entitled 'celeb gamers' & someone from this forum said he had Moyles & Boy George on his friends list.I added him to my friends list, this was before the update to allow you to view other peoples friends lists, but I never played him online or anyone from his list.
I dont hate Moylesy but seeing as he`s a Leeds fan and I support United I`d! love to play him online on COD4 and fill him full of lead then bleat like a scared sheep over the headset;-)
That seems plausible actually, if you look at that Gamertag, it's recent played games are COD4, Halo3 & COD3 (also Blazing Angels 2) and it seems quite active.
I don't really listen to Moyles or Radio 1, so I don't know if he talks about playing Halo 3 but I do know he was a big fan of COD3.
or in my case every day night and afternoon
As a Forest fan I'd like to keep any Leeds fans out of the top 2 in both beautiful games!!
Don't know if he still does it, but Vernon Kaye used to invite listeners to his Saturday show to text in their gamertags. He'd pick 20 and add them to his friends. I tried a couple of times, but don't think I got picked.
I've often wondered if I have ever unknowingly played a celeb on Pro Evo or COD.
respect to the Forest fan...shocking result today :-(
I was told it was hanlea b
someone has been grave digging... lol
ha yea me too, i'm sure those of us who play call of duty alot probably have come across a celeb at some point which is kinda cool i guess ha, even if they were z-listers
