Got an Oppo HA-2 and some Shure 535's that I'm thinking of letting go if I can find a MOJO.

    Anyone?

    Location: Essex

Rather than open boxed, I managed to get a good deal from Richer Sounds for a brand new sealed box.
Ordered at 250pm yesterday, arrived 855am this morning :)

Too early to say as I'm giving it a 10 hour charge night but will be taking it on a long commute tomorrow.
I currently use an Oppo HA-2 which I've been very impressed with and I love the design of it. Less impressed with the design of the Mojo Vs the Oppo BUT its the sound that counts so will let you know tomorrow night. :)

It doesn't really need the 10 hour charge, just until the light goes out.

I found a fair difference when I went from the HA-2 to the Mojo :)

    So....

I rate the HA-2 highly but audio wise the Mojo is a definite and notable upgrade. Very impressed but I really didn't want to like it but I do!

The down side for me is that the design and portability of the Oppo is great and better suits me especially as its combined with a rather bulky iPhone 6sPlus.

I really miss the ease of the volume control on the Oppo but also its shame that the Mojo isn't Apple certified i.e. I can no longer use the volume control for quick adjustments on either the phone or my Apple Watch unlike the Oppo which is a big shame for me.

That said there is no denying the audio quality is worth it. Its only day one and I probably need to find the best way of carrying/using it.

If you could combine the oppo design and portability with the chord sound, I would be in DAC heaven. I have 14 days to reach a decision :)

What deal did you get from RS? I've just had the Email from them regarding their sales but wouldn't expect it to be included

They quoted me £399 on the phone (Holborn) I mentioned that Peter Tyson were doing it for £410 WITH the Apple CCK cable which I also needed.

He said that's open box, I said no it's not. Instantly then said £365 and free next day delivery and I said deal. To be honest I didn't even push it and if I had I think I could have got a bit more.

Item was sealed and brand new :)
