Chord, Ixos or QED?

Got the big move into my new house on Wednesday:clap:
I am going to splash out on new cables for my front three Kef KHT 9000's. I used to have QED silver Anniversary on my floorstanders so I am fancying bogstandard QED SA for my Kef's.
Is it worth getting the best cable you can aford for satelites? The Kefs are obviously decent sats but they are'nt full range speakers.
I am also tempted with the Chord carnival (5* What Hifi Feb99) which is half price of the Silver Anniversary or possibly Ixos XHS706-S (6003 Gamma) which is annother cheap award winner.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add QED original on to my list. At £2 a metre it also seems like a good deal.
I spent £500 a speaker on my Kefs so I don't want to feed them a poor signal with sub standard cable.

Of the cables you mention both the QED and Ixos are good choice, and good value for money.

Prices are :-

QED SA (£5.10)
QED Original (£2.60)
Ixos 706-S (£3.10)

Based on the fact that you already have QED SA, my advise would be to stick with them throughout, if cost is prohibitive, then go down to the QED Original, which in my opinion, is still very good value for money.

I used to have QED silver Anniversary on my floorstanders so I am fancying bogstandard QED SA for my Kef's.
What's the difference?

Filbert, I don't have floorstanders any more and my Kefs are not bi-wireable. When I said bog standard QED SA I mean not the bi-wire equivalent.
I am looking at £4 QED SA, £2 QED Original or £2.49 Chord Carnival for fronts. £1.25 QED Micro for my surrounds.
All prices are quoted per metre available from http://www.bestpricetv.com
