Choosing that TV - Made me laugh

I have been looking to get a TV for the last 4 months and pushing the boat out so wanting the right one. After reading and reading and reading, I came to the conclusion I was to get a Panny Plasma VT20 or more recently Sammy D6900. Today I spend some serious time in the PC world/Curry’s just looking at the screen and let me eyes choose.
The funny thing was every TV I looked at I preferred the LCD over the plasma and LED over both LCD/Plasma. The reason….. I just thought the blacks were black and the color was more brighter/stronger…. From the last 4 months of reading, I thought plasma have the better blacks and realistic colors but I saw this on LCD/LED, which now questions me getting a plasma.

Made me laugh that in theory i wanted a plasma but my eyes tells me to go for a LCD.

It's the brightness, I tell ya, the brightness
Same thing was mentioned last night.

The picture might be more dynamic, but the blacks are not as black, generally.

You should ask yourself which picture looks more realistic.
But it probably won't work, as you're not alone in your thinking :)

You should probably go with your eyes, fwiw.

Even though I think they're wrong ;)
