This week there was a change in the transmission power and/or channels from my local TV transmitter. As a result I got interference on the Sky RF channel I had been using for a while to pipe Sky around the house. I remembered reading about UK TV channels and how to choose the correct channels to minimise or get rid of any interference. This is the PDF which describes in detail the rationale behind it all. At the end of the PDF is an example of a table to use to plan your channels around your current TV channels and say VCR or Sky channels. Call me anal, but I decided to encapsulate the logic into an Excel spreadsheet. Basically any channels should not have any adjacent channel nor +/-5 or +/-9 channels away. There is a link to a web site where you can enter your post code and find out the tv channels which are transmitted from your local transmitter(s) I hope this helps and may make its way to a sticky! Even the Interconnects forum should have this as well!
