Choosing a 7.1 Amp

    Im looking to put together my first seperates system ,i want to purchase a 7.1 amp so i can build on it later.
    Ive looked at yamaha's,pioneers,and dennons..but there 7.1 amps are way above my budget im looking at spending a maximum of £400,are there any you can recomend for me?

    tight budget for a 7.1 amp mate!!!! 6.1 no worries but 7.1??? i know of no 7.1 amps under £550.

    You could find a 2nd hand Denon 3801 (no Pro-Logic 2 though) or 3802 for around 400 quid. Both are 7 channel amps. :)

    AVR2803 is 7.1 (Seven amplifiers) @ £650 but the AVR1804 (Both denons) are 7.1 (Shared rear surround amplifier) and retails @ £400
