I have narrowed the choice of headphone for my impending sony HD5 down to the Sennheiser PX100 and the Koss Portapro . I want good bass and and a good fit for when I am running, al help aprecciated. :)

Any reviews I've seen lately of headphones in this pricerange always came out in favour of the PX100's.
I'm thinking of getting a pair myself as a backup to my Shure e3c's.

If you want bass then go with the Porta Pros, I have both and the Portas win on that account.

If you plug them [porta] into a good headphone amp you'll notice slightly less definition that the Sennheisers, but plugged into an Portable CD player or Ipod or somesuch they'll be fine.

If you're running, I'd recommend the Sporta Pros over the Porta Pros, same drivers, different headband.

Just bought some Shure E3C's from ebay. Very good value and a brilliant earphone.
