    Hi all,

I have £1000 to spend and i have found a choice of a few tv's i was wondering whether i could get some expert opinion on them. I asked in a local shop but they kept trying to sell me more expensive ones. I dont mind paying £50 for p+p but £1000 really is my limit. Im going to buy sky+ and a dvd home cinema system, that is not included in the price. I wanted 42" if possible, here are a list of the ones that i have found, any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Hyundai ImageQuest HQP421SR 42" Plasma

    Samsung PS42V6SX

    Goodmans GTV42P

    Jvc GMV42PZW

    Panasonic TH42PWD6BX

    Panasonic TH42PWD7

    Relisys RP4206

I have been looking at the reviews on HCC but most of these arent on there.

I like the idea of the relisys and the hyundai as i can have 2 tuners at once.

As i said before any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Matt

mate, for £1k you're going to get a budget name or old model.....please don't take this the wrong way but i would wait until you can go £500 more for the screen as you can look at the PWD8 and a few boards.

actually, you might want to go for the PWD6 over the PWD7 since the 7 can't do component over VGA.
