I have the Enigmah chip which works a treat with EvoX, Video Select CD, and any game I throw at it.

Big Jim, if you can hold on for another 2-3 weeks mate you should be able to buy a Messiah "clip". These clips will basically cover all the 23 connections on the chip itself turning it into a stupidly easy 2 wire (non-solder) connection. Check out their official site at http://www.china-messiah.com.

I installed a Messiah chip myself back in Feb and it was rather easy (compared to the evil NEO4.1... 44 wires... Evil >_<) and it works superbly. Full speed FFX gaming... Its all good.

    NeoBlade,

Dont suppose you have found any VCD/DivX players for the PS2 have you?

I gather they only work on PS2s (If they exist at all! They look pretty real, but don't seem to do anything....)

    Cheers!

    Paul.

As far as I know there isn't any VCD players for the PS2, nor are there any DivX ones because that requires a percentage of work from the CPU. To be honest with you I haven't done any extensive research into it, but I haven't found anything so far.

If something is out I'm sure that someone would post it up. I'll have a look for you in the morning mate, since I need to get up early and build a PC. Laters.
