    Hi,

I have a chipped UK Xbox and am about to get a projector.

The projector (Infocus LP130) has VGA input and S-Video input.

What is the best way to connect my Xbox to the projector to get the best out of it?

The cheapest way is to just get an S-video lead, will this be any good?

Is the High Def pack the way forward? Or I saw someone mention a proper VGA converter. (But no model number).

How much of an improvement will I get?

What software do I need on too? I see mention to various dashboard hacks, but nothing specific. I have the video mode software.

I've read around the forums, but only got more confused!

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers
    Marc

Okay I had searched the forums and got confused and now just read the FAQ and things are a little better, sorry for not doing that first...

So I understand a little more of what I can get out of my Xbox, the question is more now about outputs, is the High def pack the way forward or some kind of VGA adaptor (and if it is VGA how do I know which is a goodone, models please anyone?).

The projector supports VGA input (1024*768) or S-video.

    Thanks
    Marc

There's a hardcore VGA adaptor, seen it on this forum, its german i think.

Theres also a line to add in the bios to make it permanent progressive.
