I've had my xbox chipped today, and am having great fun setting xbmc up, but I'm a little concerned about live! Am I right in thinking that as long as I have auto sign-in turned off, and I don't go doing anything silly like connecting manually, I can't get banned from it? I know I could just unplug the ethernet cable, but that's harder than you would imagine with the way I have it all crammed into a rack ! :)

    Cheers

Just don't log onto Xbox Live and your fine. Human error is the only thing that will get you banned.

:D Depending on the chip you have and the bios it's running, you might have an option that disables xbox live logins, so you can't login even if you try!

I've turned my chip off physically at the front of the console, to prevent me ever doing that! If the chip goes on, the ethernet cable goes out!

I simply don't trust the BIOS!
