Well the pain in my ass that is the Sony 50" LCD RP is going back today and I will finally get my £2000 back.

Now the question is what to replace it with? There is no way I am going for a smaller screen, my room is around 19ft long so I've got the distance to view these bigger screens. Also I do not want to spend much, if any more than I spent on the Sony.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks

Sounds like you want a 50" at least for £2000...

Well thats the Sagem 50", but its a bit old, and HD2 chipset..
The samsung 50" is £2700ish so a bit over budget
The Optoma RD50" - excellent set, has got an issue with R1 DVD's that can be sorted using a HTPC as a player..
The Toshiba 52wm48 is under £2000 and 2" bigger, and people seem pretty happy with the 46 which is identical in everthing but screen size..

Other then that.. a projector???
