I have the following equipment to house in a cabinet:

    Sky + box
    HK AVR330
    HK DVD22
    Bose Sub-woofer
    Scart to Composite converter box

I would like the cabinet to have doors so that my daughter who is yet to walk isn't able to use the equipement to help pull her up when she is learning to walk.

I'm no DIY guy so a self build isn't that easy.

Can anyone recommend a good retailer to go and look at?

It's on page 2 and is £75. I've got one, does the job well. The only small gripe is that the Panasonic sensor for the remote is right on the left hand side of their units so don't put it on the right hand side or you can't see it very well :-(

You haven't mentioned a budget so......

    Expensive but good.
Have you thought about getting a furniture maker to make one for you? It's not as outrageous as it sounds. Far better quality and quite often surprisingly reasonable.
It might stand a chance of being around in a couple of years!
    Hope this helps

there are some specteral stands that have individual doors for each piece of equipment, quite a few dealers can supply them too.

I was in the same situation with keeping the kids hands off the AV kit so a friend of mine just happened to be giving away on of these http://www.ikea.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...uctId=11146&langId=-20&parentCats=10104*10174 which probably wont also house your sub but everything else remains safe. He gave it to me with the central shelves missing which isn't a problem coz the kit just stacks on top of one another. I've had no problems with the remote controls working through the glass so most of the time the unit's locked.

    Good luck
    Clint.
