Totally unwatchable. Looked like a computer game played on a under powered machine at two or three frames per second. SD broadcast no problems, better than HD in fact.

Hope I'm not the only one this happened to.

Don't likke the sound of that. The HD rugby is ok at the moment. This is something I'm gonna' have to keep an eye on.

Mine played ok but is it just me and that is it doesn't look incredible like I hoped? Not a major amount of difference between the SD and HD.

    Tomwilko,

Theres been lots of discussions on this with people saying the picture has been amazing while other say the can't see a difference. It can depend on size of tv, how well your tv handles SD feeds, what you've got your SKY HD box set to auto/1080i etc, eyesight and a few other things.

Do you notice any difference between sd and hd, hopefully the picture appears clearer and seems sharper at the very least

Cheers for this, in the Chelsea game the difference was not massive, if much at all. However I watched the Arsenal game later on that night and I just couldn't stop grinning, the detail was like nothing I have ever seen before in sport.

I so wish they broadcast Formula 1 in HD ASAP!!!!
