Hi folks. Does anyone know what's the cheapest way of subscribing to The Times? I understand that they 'target' offers and remember, now, all the promotional codes I've binned in the past. Where do they tend to crop up?

The last few times I flew to Amsterdam they were giving them away at the airport. If you PM me an e mail address I can scan a copy for you next time I go :)

Get a newspaper round and read a copy as you do the deliveries

    or just buy a newsagents

or get a job at W H Smiths

or go to work by train / tube / bus and sit next to someone who has a copy :)

Pick one up from one of the WHSmiths where they have a box for "people buying in a newspaper in a hurry", and accidentally put copper coins in the box instead of silver ones!!  :D

    Hi,

Sorry, T-Force! I hate to say this, but WHSmiths stopped this, because they were loosing hundreds of pounds a week from people "paying" for newspapers, magazines, and even books, using lots and lots of copper or 5p pieces. That's why - outside of a few WHS branches they have in train stations - most branches have stopped this!

P.S. They were great while they lasted! Imagine being able to buy every issue of any magazine you wanted, for pennies! :D :suicide:

...yeah, but I like to read a paper copy on the train. Any serious suggestions about obtaining a decent subscription rate?
