Personally I wouldn't get a secondhand box from Ebay.

I was having problems with my box. I called Sky and I was charged £65. Someone came round and changed my box. I had more problems. Basically, after the 4th change of box it was sorted out.

IMO, the ONLY way to do it to guarantee no problems is to buy a brand new box. This will only be guaranteed for 1 year though. After that, any problems and you're screwed.

If you go down the same road as me, you will have a 3 month guarantee and it will be replaced and coninue to be replaced until there are no problems.

    Up to you really.
