i need to buy a new camera, but as im skint i need to get it on credit, preferably buy now pay later.

my local jessops store have offered a 20D with the packaged lense for £1100 on credit, but i also need to buy a 50mm lense and a decent sized storage card so i can shoot raw.

    anyone seen any good offers?

i dont ebay, and the likely hood is im gonna have to get the credit in someone elses name

    anyone?

I got it from jessops £1049 with the lens mate, i'd find the cheapest place for it online and get them to price match it regardless of how your paying. I've had mine around 3 months now so £1100 seems a bit steep. Don't let them charge you extra just because it's on finance

    Ps

I got a refund on my Canon S1 and case from them and put the outstanding on their 6 months interest free (now paid) deal so i messed them about a little. They can be budged :lesson:

yep i found that, do jessops price match with online prices from the store?
ive found it for £985 with the kit lense, and obviously wouldnt need a 1gig storage card and a 50mm f1.8 lense to go with it, ££££ :(

They do mate, as long as it's a firm based in the uk. At the time that i bought mine, £1049 was about the cheapest you could get it with the lens online . They priced matched it before i sprang the credit note i had for my already returned S1 and case, so that left about £780 there about's which the gave me six months interest free credit on. You'd get nine to twelve months at full price...

You just need to print out the net deal and get the tel number of the firm
    and you're away.

jessops wont price match with places like pixmania and 7dayshop, they also quote £1250!!!!!!!! which is rediculous, but they will match within a 20mile radius and endevour to match internet prices as long as they are mainland uk, im hoping Ebuyer is mainland uk,

hmmm £250 more from jessops are they nuts!!!!!

yep im looking into kit bags at the mo, browsing the jessops catalogue now :)
what kit bags would you recommend then mr seany!

gonna get a scandisk ultra2 1gig card, may get a second battery as well

i've got a Crumpler bag - Budgie Smuggler i think its called. Really well made and not too badly prices either. Tis big enough for a body with a lens on, a flash, a second lens (nowt too big though) and a few odds and sods, batteries, filters, hoods, cards etc in the front.

they do one called "stunner" which looks pretty funky and aparently fits 2 lenses and camera and stuff in.

looks much better than the lowepro stuff whcih will ace, isnt asthetically pleasing
