Currently I've been buying 25 disc cake packs from play at £18 del a time. What with my brother also having a rec dvd it's surprising how 25 discs just don't seem to last. Does anyone know a safe site to buy say 50/100 at a time. Cheers in advance. :)

Have heard very good reports on SVP from a mate at work, who incidently, uses the Datasafe discs. Not used them personally. I'd also lock the blanks somewhere safe to stop your brother from nicking them

It's not so much a case of him nicking them, just he's into the same shows as I am. Therefore everytime I record something he'll ask for a copy. With Seinfeld on every night and what with there being 9 series....still, I've told him he'l have to get his own from now. :)

Try your local computer shops. Mine has Ritek 25 tub cake packs for a tenner a time. They are also the inkjet printable ones so real sweet. I hate those ones with heavily printed top sides. You can get them online for about £1 cheaper but when you add on postage it's cheaper for me to buy them locally. Also agree, don't bother buying anything that isn't Ritek (G04 or G05) dye.

    what about these:

Ritek Ridisc A Grade (4x) DVD-R Disc in Packs of 50. If I were to buy 2 packs it works out at less than £30 + p+p. Seems good to me.

Just to avoid any confusion make sure you all buy 12cm discs for your DVD set-top recorders! The 8cm are for camcorders.
