I think the cheapest I ever found one was about £208, but once p&p had been factored in it came to only a coupla quid under Apple's own price. It certainly felt like I'd looked pretty much everywhere.

I've only just bought one for my wife and decided to get one from Apple direct, as they include the engraving for free as well (dunno if 3rd party places do too).

    It was £219 all-in.

Oh, and the 20gb is a tiny bit bigger than the Mini (width only, I think, might be wrong), but it's still flippin small. Dunno why you'd have any real need to go much smaller than it is TBH.

BTW - The ipod was my wife's choice; I'd have gone for a Creative Zen Xtra 60gb for ~£180 at various places on the net.

You dont need a NUS card to get the student discount, figure that one out for your selves

But to answear your question, go to the apple store http://www.apple.com/uk/

and then go to the refurb section. Its mainly open on a wednesday, and its a good idea to check in the morning and in the afternoon because they do on occasion add products in the afternoon. You should get a 20-35% discount. But be quick because the ipods fly off there

I agree. Just noticed that Boots.com are having a triple points week. There are some exclusions but it looks like the iPod would be included. RRP £220, £5 off voucher (easily found on Google) and £52 in Advantage points. It's not money off but its free shower gel and shampoo for a year!

Hmm, this promotional code gives 10% off over £50 at Boots too:

    MUPV66

    So it's iPods-a-go-go then?
