    Hi all

I'm after a cheap -r DVD recorder. I want to convert my old 8mm video tape collection to DVD and think this would be the easiest route.

I've seen a couple of players for £99 but they are +.

The LiteOn LVW-5006B All-Write Home Dvd Recorder looks OK and is £144 on Ebuyer.

It will need analogue inputs ( preferably on the front ) for my old Canon 8mm video camera.

    Cheers

You can get a number of budget 'minus' recorders these days: Liteon and LG are the probably the better ones. However I would advocate spending a little bit more for maybe a Samsung or Hitachi. Or even a little more (around £180) for a Panasonic or Pioneer. These will give significantly better results for long term archiving.
