I'm looking for a really cheap digital camera that can take VGA video (640x480 30fps) for an unlimited amount of time, or at least longer than a few minutes. The regular photo ability doesn't concern me.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks :)

    Hi Erick,

I doubt you'll get a "really cheap" camera with that functionality. 30fps at 640 * 480 tends to be a feature on the better cameras. Manufacturers are unlikely make a crap camera with good video as the most important function of a camera is to take pictures.

    Matt.

My brother-in-law just bought a Samsung Digimax i5 model recently that does what you're after. It seemed cheap to me at £180.
