is the vistron 26" the cheapest one you can get?

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131914

its £250!

and also, would you say the sony 26T3000 is worth the £130-odd price increase??

i do keep my tvs for a long time so do you think itll be worthwhile paying the extra money? ive heard the T3000 is probably the 2nd best 26" around (after the LXD70), and the panel it uses which give better colour viewing angles appeals to me, but i AM on a budget so please advise me!!

cheers :)

Get the best that you can afford as you will probably regret buying the cheaper one in the long run as it will probably have a poor TN panel.

The 26T3000 and the LXD70 are the best at the moment however Sony are introducing a new model http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/1099344/art/sony/bravia-kdl-26v4500-lcd-te.html which has an excellent spec for a 26'' model.

33,000:1 contrast ratio
24p true cinema
Bravia 2 engine
178 degrees viewing angle
3 HDMIs

Might be worth waiting the month or so till it is released to check it out.

I have the 26T - very good and looks nice too :) I'd say it's a very good TV for <£400

Yeah the 26T3000 really worth it as its the best 26".Also if you can wait a month the new 26V4500
