Cheap widescreen tv

    Please could someone recommend me a good 28' widescreen tv for no more than £400.

    They're all pretty competent TVs, I guess it's up to what you like the look of best. Personally I'd go for the JVC.

    Sorry, but is it the JVC AV28T25EKS or AV28T25EKB? There is no JVC AV28T25S . On the website.

    They are both the same set. Retailers often leave out the EK bit. It just means it's the UK version. The S and B at the end are silver & black versions so make sure you get the right one.

    Thanks. How much better is this JVC AV28R25EKS? It has better sound than the JVC AV28T25EKS. Its only 30 quid more. What do you think?

    It has a subwoofer and Surround Sound. It also has a better stand. Well worth the £30 extra if you have it spare.

    It has a subwoofer and virtual surround sound, I think you need to pay extra for the surround speakers.

    If the extra £30 includes the Surround speakers then go for it, my friend has the same exact set and it surprizes me just how good TV speakers can sound...

    Still only Pro Logic though :(
