Are Thor scarts any good for connecting between TV and Sky Digibox setup for RGB.

Will I notice much improvement...I currently have 'unbranded' gold plated oxygen free cable linked up.

    ???

The total cost for a cable from there will be £24.15 (coz the £17.25 price doesnt include VAT and delivery) but is the cheapest I have seen it as Grandata is now charging for delivery :(

Saying that do Maplin’s do a 1.5 meter Thor? As I popped in to a branch before Christmas to get one but when I saw it was 3 meters I left it alone (I don’t need 9 ft of cable between sat box and TV). I could not see any other scart to scart that were that short only scart to other connections.

    Thanks Porker
Just ordered a 1.5m Thor Scart to Scart lead from TLC. If I see any improvement I'll order more.
    Cheers :smashin:

    another update

Just got email from TLC to say that Thor lead has been dispatched:clap:

They seem quite good at keeping customer informed, unlike some others I've used.

Please let us know what you think of the Thor lead. I buy quite a bit from TLC and saw them on their shelf last week and was interested.

TLC have always been a great company to deal with with very knowledgeable staff and good prices.

    Thanks

    Dave

Thor lead arrived today as promised- impressed with TLC:)

as for the lead - I'm well impressed. obvious improvement in colour depth and clarity. Will be getting more Thor's!
    Pity they don't do a 1 metre.

    One thing puzzles me:confused:

Using the new Thor scart lead to connect either digibox or DVD (both set to RGB out) to AV1, I dont get the three dot RGB symbol coming up-just the standard AV1 symbol.

Does this mean it's not RGB or does this model not show the symbol?

You should still get the 3 dot display on the screen as these cables are rgb compatable.
